Nice place, high on the hill and great pool. Good value for money

We asked if a friend could come and visit us and have a swim. We were told that he can come but can’t use the pool, if he wants to use the pool it would cost 400 pesos extra. Very silly! As he probably would have come and spent money in drinks etc. There wasn’t a single other guest in the whole complex so it wasn’t like anyone was being put out.

The room was very clean and spacious. I arrive around 10 pm and was assisted by the security guy who was very friendly, nice and helpful.

The concept is cool and the place has a very calm atmosphere.

Great place to relax

The staff was amazing, helped us arranged last minute trip to Xochicalco pyramids ( highly recommended). The food at the restaurant had great options for vegetareans and vegans, the fresh juice mixes are out of this world, and so is the hot chocolate ( made of real raw cocoa beans). The views were amazing. If you wake up early enough in the morning, you can see the Popacapetl volcano. The pools are clean. While the rooms are very simple( not a problem for us, but could be for some), they offer everything you need for a relaxing vacation - fresh air, beautiful views, healty food, a variety of massages and treatments. Highly recommended. And just to clarify on someone's earlier review: the hotel is NOT in a sketchy neighborhood, it's just a regular neighborhood, clean and quiet.

-) very good and big breakfast-buffet with (nearly) all you would dream of! Beside the buffet you can even let you cook fresh Quesadillas (even the taco is made fresh), omlettes, spare ribs/steak/fish from the grill! So you can get all you want the breakfast and then you need the whole nothing till the dinner :D -) very polite and kind staff all over the place -) beautiful "garden area" -) very beautiful decoration of the room with the romantic package -) big balcony with whirlpool

Incredible place, great accomodations.

Hot water of the pool wasn't working, a waste for a great pool. There was some strange loud noice in the middle of the night, sort of a machine working.

This hotel was very Zen-like and relaxing, just what I needed after a bad experience in Puebla. The grounds were extremely peaceful and beautiful, and the staff welcoming and attentive.

The service in the restaurant was a little slow, but the grounds were so relaxing and beautiful we didn't care. Reception is a little disorganized, but very friendly. Would like to have had a hot tub available.

Location--away from noise of center of Cuernavaca, yet easily reached by taxi or bus. Comfort of bed and room; helpfulness of staff; beauty of grounds and panoramic views.Overall beauty of landscaping and tranquility. Plenty of places to sit and relax. Excellent spa.

The food is okay but not outstanding. The old bikes in gym were both broken. The pool water was very cold and not heated. The Muzak at pool and dining room. However, during the week when there are few visitors, the staff will turn it off. The staff speaks limited, if any English, but goes out of the way to be helpful. Take a dictionary!

So noisy, it's impossible to get a good night of sleep.

The views and grounds are nice and the room was decent in size, although spartan in decor. The positives end there, unfortunately.

My expectations were pretty high after reading prior reviews; however, the team here failed on service and the property is flawed. There are dogs barking in the neighborhood 24/7, which was a pretty big negative, along with paper-thin walls and loud pool equipment which meant I got zero nights of good sleep during my three-night stay. The fact they allow smoking at the pool is ironic for a spa-styled property, which ran me off from lounging pretty quickly. As for their service failure, here’s how that went down: a friend and I ordered a couple of drinks on the patio. After 30 minutes, the waiter finally appeared with our beverages. The Mojito was the worst ever, so I just left it sitting there full along with cash and left. The waiter tracked us down as we were leaving a bit later - not to apologize for the obviously unwanted drink (and nonexistent service) - but rather to ask for more money. Apparently, they raised prices without it being reflected on the menu. Talk about being clueless. Bottom line: I’ve stayed at Downtown Hacienda and Las Brisas, both also in Cuernavaca, and they’re definitely worth the slightly higher rates. Not being able to sleep because of dogs and music and running water and sliding deck chairs makes Ayurveda anything but a Palace in my book.

Good back up plan but would prefer other options if available.

The facilities LOOK very pretty. Nice view from the pool. Its close to mexico city side so you dont have to go through rush hour when heading back (assuming your destination is in that direction).

Service at the pool was terribly slow (even just for drinks) and the pool per se was not clean (it was full of bugs near the edges) which was very uncomfortable. Worst part it was that at night it smelled like the sewer (you get used to it but it gae me nausea when coming back from dinner in the city).
